Eden Mountain Lodge, 1390 Square Road, Eden Mills, VT, 802-635-9070
Nestled in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, the lodge brings 75-acres of conservation land with abundant wildlife and snow. Let Jim Blair teach you how to hitch your favorite team of Alaskan huskies and enjoy the ride of your life as the crisp, cool air whips past your flushed cheeks and you and your companions laugh and slide around in the snow past beautiful, frosty meadows, frozen brooks and lots of wildlife. Eden Mountain Lodge offers New England's only dogsled touring center with up to 10 miles of private trail systems designed and carefully maintained exclusively for dogsledding activities. Tours begin in mid-December and are offered daily, five times a day from $250.
